Indoor playrooms
Suitable shared spaces where dogs spend part of the day.
For dog daycare
KennelCam gives daycare customers controlled live access during their dog’s visit, using suitable customer-facing camera views without giving access to the daycare’s wider CCTV system.
Daycare viewing works differently
Boarding accommodation can have an obvious camera linked to a particular room. In daycare, dogs naturally move between playrooms, outdoor areas, activity spaces and rest periods.
That means customers may see appropriate shared areas during the visit, rather than one dog remaining on one camera.
Indoor and outdoor viewing areas
Suitable customer-facing camera views might cover indoor playrooms, outdoor runs, paddocks, activity spaces or other areas that make sense for your centre. The right views depend on the centre, how dogs move through it and what is appropriate to share.
Indoor playrooms
Suitable shared spaces where dogs spend part of the day.
Outdoor runs
Customer-facing outdoor areas where a suitable view is available.
Activity spaces
Areas used for supervised play and enrichment.
Rest spaces
Appropriate quieter areas where dogs settle between activities.
Set the right expectations
Dogs move between areas, activities and rest periods. They may be playing outside, settling down, taking part in an activity or simply elsewhere in the centre when a customer checks.
Live cameras for dog daycare are a way to offer reassurance and transparency, not continuous tracking of an individual dog.
Viewing on the daycare’s terms
KennelCam provides the customer-access layer around suitable daycare camera views. The daycare decides which customer-facing views are appropriate and when they are available; customers do not receive access to wider security CCTV.
Controlled access
KennelCam manages customer access to the permitted live view.
Permitted periods
Viewing can be limited to the permitted period for the visit.
Customer-facing views
The daycare decides which suitable areas are made available.
No wider CCTV access
Customers do not enter the wider security or monitoring system.
Use cameras you already have
Compatible existing CCTV may potentially be reusable for dog daycare customer live viewing, following an assessment of the cameras, video setup, connectivity, placement and appropriate field of view.
Suitability is assessed for the individual site. We do not assume every existing setup is right for customer access.

KennelCam is designed differently from a traditional daycare webcam. Rather than providing a permanent shared feed, it controls customer access around the relevant visit and permitted viewing period.
Not necessarily. Dogs move between activities, playrooms, outdoor areas and rest periods, so they may not be in the available view every time a customer checks. The purpose is reassurance and transparency, not continuous tracking of an individual dog.
Yes. A pilot can begin with one room, play area or selected customer-facing zone before considering a broader rollout.
