  • Billing information (processed securely via our payment provider)
  • Site and camera configuration details

Pet owners

  • Name and email address (when provided to access a live stream)
  • The secure PIN issued to you by your kennel
  • Basic usage data (time and duration of stream access)

Website visitors

  • IP address and browser information (via cookies and analytics)
  • Pages visited and time spent on site
  • Form submissions (waitlist sign-ups and contact enquiries)

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and manage the KennelCam service
  • Send you service-related communications (account setup, updates, support)
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Respond to enquiries submitted via our contact or waitlist forms
  • Send optional marketing or product updates where you have ticked the consent box on our contact form — we use a double opt-in process: you will receive a confirmation email and are only added to our mailing list if you confirm (you may withdraw consent at any time)

  • Subject to retention periods set by the platform provider

We do not store or access live video footage beyond what is necessary to deliver the service. Kennels are responsible for informing their customers about on-site CCTV in accordance with ICO guidance and their own privacy notices.

6. Data Sharing

We may share your data with:

  • Our platform and infrastructure providers — to deliver the streaming service (processors bound by data processing agreements)
  • Payment processors — for subscription billing
  • Email service providers — to send transactional emails (for example notifications when you submit our contact form) and, if you opt in, to manage our mailing list and marketing emails via Brevo (www.brevo.com)
  • Analytics providers — using anonymised or aggregated data only
  • Legal authorities — where required by law

All third-party processors are selected carefully and required to handle data in line with UK GDPR.

  • Active subscriber data: for the duration of your subscription plus 6 years (for legal and tax purposes)
